With current water temps and southern winds blowing in lots of flying fish, debris and bait, the fishing has been phenomenal. Huge Amberjacks, Cobia, King fish,  Mahi Mahi, vermillions and some groupers make for an exciting day. The month of September is a slow month for charter fishing. What does that mean to you?? Great fishing the whole month because there is less pressure on the fish. Big fish don’t get leader shy and they are in a feeding frenzy from all this bait action.

If you can make a trip in September its well worth it. Temps are just right, cool in the morning and nice during the day. Our blazing hot summer days are over so come enjoy a relaxing time on the water aboard MAXIMUS, we would love to have you.

It’s also a great time to take the family on a fishing adventure. We love taking kids, they are some of our funniest days on the water.

Family Fishing Trip

Today the Sains from Bolivar, TN came down to Destin for a day of catching red snapper.

The trip started at 5am and the water was like glass, smooth and ready for fishing.  Each customer caught their limit and had a blast.
