Had a great time taking my kids fishing for their first time out on the ocean. We went in August and it was actually great weather.  We also went in the afternoon but were not bothered by the heat.  The captain and the first mate did a great job helping the kids catch fish like Vermillion Snapper, Chocolate Porgie, White Snapper and a couple of Trigger fish we threw back.

Today the Sains from Bolivar, TN came down to Destin for a day of catching red snapper.

The trip started at 5am and the water was like glass, smooth and ready for fishing.  Each customer caught their limit and had a blast.

Red Snapper is now in season until July 15th. Catching a Red Snapper in Destin is pretty common and the flavor of the fish is phenomenal, unfortunately the season in which you can keep the fish is relatively short. So make sure to book ahead of time to ensure we have an available trip.
